If I could intercept and see the syntax for that somehow then I could probably figure out how to add it as a final step in my Tasker task.Ĭan you, or anybody else who is knowledgeable with Tasker to this extent, please steer me in the right direction by any chance? I have been dabbling with Tasker for years but could never actually figure out how to control distinctive button presses within apps like this. I don't understand how to sniff out 'intents' (if I'm even using the correct term here) to figure out what the command that my finger tap executes when actually touching that 'paper airplane' send button in the Notion 'Send to' window. My problem is that I have to manually click on 'paper airplane' send icon in the Notion 'ShareTo' window and I'd like Tasker to take that final step automatically as part of the task I've created. I've got a Tasker task to recorded audio and process speech-to text then pass it into Notion using an Tasker Auto Share plugin.

The intent seemed to be working better than the Browse URL, because the latter can in some phones open the browser instead of chrome, it probably depends on the default app for the links. To to fix that, this task first opens notion, then opens the notion url. In this task, I first open Notion, and then open the url after a small wait, because (at least in my phones) if Notion isn't running yet and a url is opened, Notion gets opened but it doesn't show up in the Recent Apps, and then it's necessary to force stop the app and restart it for it to start showing again. I accomplished the same thing using an `Intent` instead of `Browse URL`Īlso made a separate task for it - Open Notion Page, than can be called passing it a url as a parameter (`%par1`), and it will open that url, so I can call it from other tasks to open notion pages.Ī1: Launch App
